Clipper tip of the week

Here is your clipper cutter clipper tip #65 for this week...

65. Go The Distance – Use long, smooth strokes all the way across the entire length of the clipper comb to create smooth tapering. Short, chippy, choppy strokes will create a rippled, chippy, choppy taper.

Smoothness begets smoothness.  Look at the sides, flawless smooth.  This is the result of good comb control.

Mens Hair Trend Spring / Summer 2012 Longer Top Length

Mens hair trend, trend prediction spring / summer 2012 – Guys hir will be sporting longer top lengths.  Look to see guys with more hair on the top of their heads for spring and summer 2012.  Do not expect to see all this added length throughout the head, just the top.  Longer tops show outgrowth a bit less.  Guys stretching their time between haircuts is one of the reasons for some of this added top length.  More hair allows for styling options and the opportunity to experiment.  Styling product and creativity are inexpensive.  The chance to play and have a different look quickly and easily is a benefit, too.

Red 7 Salon in Chicago posted on facebook about this earlier this week and I commented there on how spot-on I felt their trend prediction is/was.  The image used in the posting came form their post.
